The two big star quilts have moved to
the workroom. Tonight I am digging
out fabric and strips for the single batted RSC star.
I would say pull but my stuff is under
other stuff so it is more like a dig.
Trimming it up and getting a nice binding should
be a good evening's work.
After dinner, my DH and I were just reviewing our perfect day.
A bit of garden work,
some nice banter about house stuff,
rehashing a camping visit with the off spring,
an afternoon reading. All this after a nice
lazy lie in this morning. Oh and some golf ball hitting and
a great walk too! All in all a near perfect day.
Managing to stitch every day so far this month
has been fantastic. It really moves a lot of
projects forward with just a little bit of time
each day!
Stay safe and sew on!

I like the idea of the multicolored binding. I struggled to use it for years but once I did, I realized it's really great on almost anything! Ya just gotta trust it!
ReplyDeleteFor sure, and you can use up 1/2 pieces etc and clean out the binding library!
DeleteSounds like really good progress this month. Multicolor bindings make a nice finish for a scrappy quilt. Happy stitching!
ReplyDeleteSounds like a perfect day! Love your RSC Star quilts, so I'm sure this one once revealed will be stellar! Thanks for sharing on my weekly show and tell, Wednesday Wait Loss.
