The weekend started off with a bang!
I have some fun new items!
First I was gifted with a box of beautiful scraps!
She'd saved them just for me!
Even more fun is I had a visiting friend! Yay!
We spent a lovely quilty afternoon looking at
projects, organizing them, sewing a chatting,
so great. Then off to hang a quilt show! It was a
great way to get up close and personal with some
beautiful work and get inspired. So many talented
quilters willing to share their work.
To our delight, our friend of many years,
got to hang her Dutch Treat.
Many, many finely hand pieced blocks,
a real "Treat" to see!
The vendors market was another stop on the day and I found this
lovely case for my traveling feather weight!
ended up holding both the
case and the bag as I didn't trust the straps. Now I can go off
to classes and sew days safely and confident
nothing will crash to the ground!
The small but mighty scrap ruler was
my second purchase and really handy for trimming.
As for the stash, it was well served also!
1 box of scraps in for 2 meters, (lots of chunks)
but I had finished up
a twin sized binding so that is 6m out so
I am still on the good side for now!
