First up, the pineapple quilt top is almost assembled

There were a few bumps

along the way .  I got ahead of myself

and skipped a trimming step so a few

blocks had to be finished up

and retrimmed so it is almost ready to join.

It looks great tho, doesn't it?

Unfortunately, the longarmer is

way behind and it will be complete in time for

a spring showing on my bed!

Then I zipped up a binding or three!

Here are the fronts. These quilts are RSCs from this year.

Here are the backs! The yellow yardage is finished

so now I can move on to some nice prints.

Getting near the end of the pinned pile.

There are still lots of other things to

quilt in the flimsy vault tho!

Our bee group's charity's headquarters fell victim to fire

so they will be needing additional quilts at

end of the month. These small twin quilts should

do nicely. My BB (best buddy) left a pile of

wonderful quilts to help out. She is amazingly generous.

Holiday events are starting soon so let's all get

our jingle on!

Stay safe and sew on !

Linking up with :

Block Bank! Banking day!

Look thru the block bank !

Well this is sure an eye opener!

A brain twist started me thinking about listing

my UFOs etc on a blog page

(thank you Kate at Life in Pieces for the inspiration)

so I dug thru my UFO basket.  It seems a majority are

block parts that should go up in the Block

Bank Basket. However, there are quite

a few that could easily be sewn up into tops.

So  I will be busy stitching up more tops!

There are also a wealth of passed on projects

from give and take tables, "here I am tired of this:

and "you do it " moments. Once those are moved

out of the basket along with the never

started but great ideas bags, the UFO basket

isn't actually that full !

(Okay 14 projects, some are resting elsewhere!)

Look at all the blocks though!

Yee haw some good tops in there!  There are still

a good stack of little star blocks that could be

added into these so the creative juices seem

to have been set in motion.

The first one roughly planned out maybe one of two designs.

An all square top using different sized squares.

I have blocks of squares that look like they should

play nicely together. It could be a true ,

Earthquake at the post office quilt!

The blocks could also be combine with some curvy

nine patch blocks. Really not sure if it would be

pleasing to eye with the curves mixed.

Experimenting awaits!
