Slightly Less & Garlic is Good

So I had enough time and space on

the design wall to lay out the garlic knot blocks.

There are enough blocks to make a good sized baby quilt.

They will get stitched together and get a  bright

binding to curtail the blocks.

It can  go off to the Northeast Babies next month.

It took a few tries to get the right layout.

First, one of the blocks did not play well with others.

Do you see it?

Once I got that straightened out,

I needed to figure out what

the design was going to be.

This way,

That way,

and finally blocks dancing across the rows,

like rockettes!

It looks very interesting and

will certainly delight its new owners!

I can't wait to get it all stitched  together

Stay safe and Sew on!

    1. It is a happy pattern isn't it! It was fun but I wanted a finish so it didn't get any larger.

  3. I never think of doing the garlic knot blocks in just 1 color each. Awesome blocks!! The "oops" block will be good "seed" to grow a whole new project.

    1. I seem to make a lot of opps! I fixed that one and it is dancing with the rest of the rockettes!

  6. I'm amazed how different the quilt looks when you rotate the blocks! No matter which arrangement you choose, this will be pretty. Thanks for sharing on my weekly show and tell, Wednesday Wait Loss.

  7. If you are taking votes, I like the 'this way' (first one) arrangement. Nice quilt, might be a fun one for me to work through the Rainbow Scrap Challenge with.
