My 2024 austerity program is going well.
The only increases to my stash this week are
beautiful scraps!
Two bundles in this week and they
have already been examined and a few
bits incorporated into these lovely
little star blocks.
These are my go to
for sparkling up crumb blocks and
working some quilt color magic.
Two baby color bombs were finished up and one for
our upcoming arrival.
Here is one. The other was donated without a pic but is
the same with a different backing fabric.
Fabric In: 22.5 m
Fabric out this week: 9 meter ( 3 baby quilts)
Use to date: 18 m
Net Fabric In this year: 1.5 m
The quilts done balanced out the
scrap intake, so yay !
Happy stitching ! It is quilt show
week for one of my guilds and the
overload of beauty is amazing.
Stay safe and sew on!

ReplyDeleteI love donated scraps-I was gifted a mixed bundle of polycotton squares last week that went into my crumb quilt. They came from a house clearance of someone who made dolls house accesories. I'm on a no buy year too-I did buy a 5m bolt for backing though
ReplyDeleteI am up to 2 meters purchased so far this year, not bad for you either only 5ms, that's great! Stay strong. This does not count for gadgets tho.
