Lots of items going out the door lately.
It feels so good to clear things off the list!
A stack of quilts went off to various organizations
with a few more still waiting for delivery.
Five more wheelchair quilts have been finished up
this week.
The hardest part always seems to be the backing.
It isn't that it has to match, I just want to make sure
the recipient will like it, and find it interesting.
Lots of yellow was used for this round of backings.
Yellow always make a project brighter and it certainly did
for this bunch of quilts!
Stay safe and sew on !

DeleteYou have made the most of every little bit of fabric you have. What a gift you are. Lovely round of charity quilts. Must feel so good, knowing what happiness they'll bring. Thanks for sharing on my weekly show and tell, Wednesday Wait Loss.

Thank you so much for you positive comments. I think the using up of all bits is just part of my frugal upbringing. It is very rewarding to make something great from leftovers ! Thank you for hosting each week!
DeleteVery nice! Kudos on all the finishes--charity quilts are my passion, so I always enjoy seeing what others are doing!
ReplyDeleteoh my! between outside the home things, and computer, I just don't have the sewing time I would like. I'm hoping to attend 2 retreats in the next month so that I have that dedicated sewing time that I need.
ReplyDeleteWell done working through those donation quilts, Deb!!
ReplyDeleteThose are great little finishes! I really like the strippy quilts with columns of color running through. I need to remember that idea for my own scraps!
ReplyDeleteYou have been busy! These wheelchair quilts will keep the recipients cozy and warm.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great group of finishes! Congratulations! They're all lovely, and make great use of scraps :)
