Well, what a crazy month it has been!
We've been having a great time on a warm
vacation and my stitching gave way to toes in the sand,
rocket launches, mangrove forests and sunscreen.
Now it is time to get back to taming
the scraps and using the stash!
My one monthly goal for March, didn't get completed
since lots of travel delays and family visits pre-empted
quilt top delivery. Tomorrow is the next day and they
should go in for a lovely time with the long armer and
get on their way to completion.
Some green scraps did get sewn up late at night n the last
day of March so I count that as a win.
I am going to continue to mix green sewing and with purple
month. My purple scraps are surprisingly
not overflowing the drawer so maybe I can
make a good dent into that small pile.
Making up some multicolored and rainbow scrap colored
crumb blocks is going to be an additional goal since my crumb
pile is getting out of control again.
Goals for the month:
Get those tops to the quilter
Quilt up a family pair ( baby due in 4 weeks)
Progress the RSC blocks
Tame some Scraps!
It is always feels very rewarding to
get some of those sewn up and not only keeps
them out of the landfill but creates something useful.
Set your sewing mojo free this month, stay safe and sew on.

ReplyDeleteYep, March really flew by but look, April is here with sunny, warm weather -- until the weekend. Glad you got your greens done -- I'm still working on mine but I did start the purples, barely. Hope you have a great quilty week.
ReplyDeleteSounds like you were in Florida! Wherever you were, glad you had a nice get-away. I love your 5 x 5s.
