.. was not too bad , but now has
ramped up to a full blown Blizzard!
A great day for a zoom meeting
and some stitching!
My workspace is wonderfully tidy!
I have to clear the table when
I am quilting a top and it is always fun to
start in a clean area !
Of course if I don't everything ends
up on the floor!
After a few videos and some
practice, I am getting more
confident with my free motion work.
Every quilt is a learning experience
in pin placement tho. The quilting
pattern never reveals itself till the
piece is under the needle so I think
I will just become one with my
pins forever!
There is some improvement showing
so that is good!
Yes, that is Berries and Cream all
quilted up!!
motivated me to get another quilt
layered up! (My great nephew also
needs a grad quilt so there is that!?!)
Block chain is next up!
My weekly
list is going to have a
lot of " Make binding!"
These two are waiting!
You have really been making progress! Awesome!
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear the weather is frightful, but you certainly are taking advantage of your time indoors!
ReplyDeleteI was surprised when you mentioned "blizzard" then I looked and saw that you live in Canada, so now I understand! Your quilting looks fantastic, and yay on your Berries and Cream - so beautiful! Loved the peek at the pink coin quilt. Your crumb strips are pretty.
ReplyDeleteThank you for linking to To Do Tuesday!
BRRrrrrrrrr. Great time to stay in and sew!
ReplyDeleteBerries and cream is a cute quilt! and I love blizzards if I don't have anywhere to go - hope yours was that way!
ReplyDeleteI too don't know exactly how the quilting is going to go until the project is under the needle! I hear you about being one with the pins! Your progress is a ton! Brrrrrr. . .staying in to sew sounds best to me too!
ReplyDeleteThat was a great movie! And I'm sure your stitching helped. Congrats on another quilt quilted! Thanks for sharing on Wednesday Wait Loss.
