Finally , I have a complete item!
This little postage stamp quilt is on
its way to Montreal to welcome a
new baby boy!
The blocks used were from my
block bank and made the construction
much faster since the center was
almost complete.
The outer border was made
from scrap strips and really
pops against the white border.
I used a flannel back with a
crumb quilt strip to made the
yardage wide enough.
Diagonal quilting across the
blocks was fun to do.
A pieced binding really
finished it off.
So glad this can ship out , its owner is
due to arrive soon!
Beautiful! I love scrappy quilts best. The new baby boy’s mom is going to be thrilled with this lovely quilt.

I think so, they are not from quilting families so it should be a nice addition to their home!
DeleteLove this postage stamp quilt and great idea to use the crumb strips to make the backing large enough. Have a lovely weekend.
