Backing it up!

 Motivation is up today!!

Some great Linky parties 

 have gotten the spirit in gear and

 I am looking toward some more finishes.

 The request came in for a few

 more quilts for friends too!  Yay!

So now I have to get to some backings!

I have a sizable stash so I am diving in

for some supplies. 

We all see the quilt backs so I like to

make them interesting.

I was born frugal so I usually 

 use what's on hand.

 A great place for 

orphans and unique blocks

( practice blocks gone wrong too)!

My very first scrap top 

ended up as backing flavor!

I pulled out a stack of yardage but..

decided to make 2 backs patriotic

since they will end up South of our border.

Sewing with friends coming up so let the 

cutting commence! 

Here is what I am going to do for the 

backs. 

These are 20" x 20" and 

a fairly good stash buster. 

No worries I will run out of 

fabric tho!

Always lots of comments from 

family that the quilts are reversible!

I also use  25" blocks but that 

creates more scrap due to WOF.
