Getting Tidy

Lots of work in the sewing room

makes for lots of mess .

It would be nice to have it all cleaned up.

The work table is really quite a tip.

I've become quite enamored with spray basting,

but it does require washing after completion.

The adhesive is a bit fragrant and nobody wants that.

All the cutting backing and batting really loaded

up the work table.

Some binding was made though so

deifinitely a win there.

Big Bernina is giving me trouble

so I think I will watch some Bernina Jeff and

see if I can figure out why I am getting an impact error.

Then current projects will be organized and

maybe I'll even finish up one more little I spy.

The first brick I Spy could use the

 column sashing and

then it would be ready for layering.

Good tidy complete.

Not a scrap in sight!

Just a nice cup of hot vitamin C ,

still in recovery mode!

I did complete the double rows of color blocks

for my next RSC top.

They definitely look promising!

  1. I just didn't have enough orange to add any for this month's color. I wish I could see the top of my desk.

  4. I haven't seen the top of my desk is a very long time. Yours look so good and in good "working" order that I want to do mine now. Thanks for the motivation. Love the double-rows of scraps. Enjoy! ;^)

  5. Your tidy up looks fantastic...can you come to my house?!! LOL When I finish this big embroidered quilt, I will definitely have to do some tidying before I start another project. Your RSC blocks are looking good. I am now two months behind, but hopefully can catch up on July. Thanks for sharing with us at Monday Musings. Have a great week.

  6. Hi Deb, good job on the tidying! I spent most of last week tidying my studio - it hadn't been done since the fall! I still have a pile of odds and ends in the corner and I'll slowly get through that. I just used my cutting table - the first time in ages. I'm hoping to clean up after every project but that's what I always say :-) Thanks for linking up to I Quilted This! and best of luck on your RSC top and recovery.

  8. I have a 570 and it has been serviced 4 times with little use. I am going to get rid of it.
