Friday already!
Who is the person who first said,
"Days go slowly, years go fast!"?
Well my days are going quickly too!
Sewing, exam help, social help and
some distanced fun made this past
week fly by !
Saw some spring wildlife this morning too!
A cute little muskrat and a crested duck!
A few things are well on their way!
Blues for Baby top is complete .
The back just needs a press, this
lovely widening crumb piece and
it is ready for my next
"Get Quilting!" week!
of 2 1/2" squares . This baby quilt make get an
accompanying queen sized parent quilt !
The Out in the Garden duo is coming along.
Both tops have their inner borders and
the outside squares are almost ready to add!
They have been really fun and speedy to do!
One zoom sew meeting and a long
phone call let me get a few more bit blocks done.
I don't think I've ever seen a muskrat in the wild. How cool for you. Lots of sewing has been going on at your house. And, going through some books too. Good for you. Hope this coming week will be as productive.
ReplyDeleteThank you! We are fortunate to live in a small town that keeps a lot of storm ponds in the natural low areas. We get muskrats, swans, lots of geese, ducks loons hawks and occasionally some greatest fisherman, Pelicans! Not sure if it is spring or my mountains of scraps that are inspiring me. Seeing great linky parties help a lot too! Stay safe and sew on !
ReplyDeleteFast or slow, it sounds like you had a wonderful week, Deb!!
ReplyDeleteLooks like you had a productive week even though it was busy. Just keep sewing. Love the pic of the duck and the muskrat! So cute!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great week!! Blues for baby!! I love that!! what a great way to use a lot of blues! its beautiful!!
ReplyDeleteI love it when I recognize fabrics in a blogger;s quilt as the same as what I have in my collection! great jobs!
ReplyDeleteI know! It just seams to bind us all together! Haha ( see what I did there?)
DeleteIt is the same reason I read a book or watch a movie about familiar places!
Of course I sing out 'I've been there" during the entire show!
Stay safe and sew on !
