Imogene's Ginger Snacks

 Imogene's Gingersnaps


    3/4 cup Butter                         3 3/4 cup flour

    1 1/2 cup sugar                       1 1/2 Tbsp  Baking soda

    1/2 cup molasses                    1 tsp ginger

    2 beaten eggs                          1tsp cinnamon

    Cinnamon & sugar               1/2 tsp cloves

    Mixture for rolling       Preheat oven to 325 F                                                

Mix dry ingredients, set aside. Cream butter and sugar, stir in eggs and molasses. Mix in dry ingredients until blended. Form into 1 " balls and roll in cinnamon and sugar . Flatten slightly on cookie sheets and bake
