How many quilts can a quilter quilt?

Looks like it is almost time for a quiltathon!

I was avoiding cleaning my sewing workspace again

so I counted the flimsies, yikes!

1 Alien landing

2 Strippy Gardens

3 blue quilts

4 quilts for family

I think I am channeling the 12 days of Christmas !

The family quilts are all queen size!
There is a lot more members of the quilts in waiting
club but they chose to remain anonymous!
These are the quilts with loose deadlines and
homes to go to.

Quiltathon here I come!

I have a quite a few backs made so once the work table is

cleared off , batting can be cut and pinning can commence!

I think this will be a great To-Do! and monthly

goal too. I will just have to watch for

those Distractions! A room full of endless

possibilities can be a real Siren call.

Stay safe and sew on!

    1. We will see how long it takes me to get thru this pile of tops! I have a friend with a long arm and some great local quilt shops so we will see if I have to call them into action!
Thank you for your great comments and support! We will all get thru this together!

  8. LOL! I am so glad I don't have that many to quilt, but I'm not going to even count to see how close I can get. Good luck with the quiltathon! I need a lot more batting to be ready for that. Thanks for linking up with To-Do!

    1. A local batting distributor just did a truckload sale for us folks in the Northern part of the province. We all pickup rolls of batting in an out of the way corner of big parking lot at a set time! Sounds like a clandestine meeting to me! Oh the lengths we quilters will go to for a roll of 80/20 cotton!

  9. Love the humor in you infused into writing about your flimsies. New term to me. You know you are truly a quilter when you start buying batting in bulk. :)

    1. I know , it makes me feel like I am my own quilt shop!!! I can go to "the store" and get some batting! ( I only wish the staff was more helpful when picking colors!?!)
Humor and fun helps light our dark times.

    1. I have a quilt friend who said," I really like the village on the shore!" Art is always open to our mind's eye. It should be great to add some creative quilting in the foreground!

  14. You certainly have a lot of quilts to get quilted! But you've got a plan and that number will soon be reduced. Lovely quilts that deserve to be finished. Thanks for sharing on Wednesday Wait Loss.

  16. Lol, I love quilting marathons because you always feel so accomplished when you reach the last in the stack. There are a few hanging in my closet that need quilting, think I'll wait for a few more to be added though. Thank you for linking up to Put your foot down.
