Sunshine in the Winter!

This quilt popped up on the way

to somewhere else so it needed its

moment in the sun!

I really enjoy making coin and strip quilts!

This bright yellow beauty was a bit challenging tho!

It was inspired by a picture in a magazine but ,

I didn't save it so I had to start from scratch.

Needless to say those spirals can get really big ,

really fast!

Collecting the yellows was a surprise too!

I ended up with a lot of orange and red strips too!

The quilt languished  in the UFO corner for a time,

but finally came together!

It seems to be a trend with me. At least

until I run out of yellows!

Stay safe and sew on!

  4. Nice finish! Perfect timing too since you've provided a whole lot of February inspiration to everyone doing (or considering doing) RSC 2021 since Yellow is the February color. Yellow is great for how it ranges into orange and red.
