I still love greens!

Trying to let the RSC 2021 assist me in

taming my scraps.

A toddler and a noodle brought me

down . I missed my first sew day

after someone fed GP a noodle and

everyone got the stomach flu!

Anyway, I still love greens!!!

I have made a bunch of green log cabins,

but I many make one more for myself.

I also discovered the Lady of the Lake

pattern while spending couch time resting.

It looks like a pineapple so I may do one in

all greens for this months mission!

I think I have enough greens!

Can't wait to get sewing!

I even have a heap of pinks to finish up

from February!

I finished the heart quilt.

All the scraps got sewn up

on Friday Night with Friends, so

3 more crib quilts are on the way.

Stay safe and sew on !

Friday Night with Friends

UFO Busting!

Friday Nite with Friends

My first Friday nite with Friends,

Sew in , Get going, Tame those scraps

got off to a great start!

I need a few baby quilts and

have some scraps that are perfect

for little girls. I can see the joy of

precuts!

I have a whole box of these
 left over from the

I rediscovered this small yellow coins,
and now I have a direction.

I sewed up all the bits left that
were about 7" long.

 I cut  off
the extra with quick scissor snip
and put those back in the box.

Then trimmed up my sets
to 6 inches.  I tend to trim to the
width of a favorite ruler unless
I am sticking to a strip
pattern.

Notice the narrower set?

I went back to the box and
sewed up all
the cutoffs too!

So not a bad evening!
I finished with enough strips for
three crib sized pink quilts!
I may embellish with an applique
or some fancy gifted lace  pieces

to spice them up!

Stay safe and sew on!
