Just big enough!

 Well another productive few days.

This retirement life is good for

UFOs! Cold, icy weather doesn't hurt either!

Quite a few projects have moved forward

and a few squirrels have even gotten

moved to flimsy stage!

First up is a RSC item that

was just a bit too small.

found some remaining red

bits and increased the length.

It still seemed too narrow,

so I added  some light strings to each side.

 It ended up a comfortable

43" x 54" ,  perfect for baby and child gifts.

This months RSC projects needed

some work also.  I stitched and listened

to a few good movies and moved

a baby quilt top to the flimsy stage.

This time I actually made it the

correct size!  Who knew The Princess

Bride would be as much fun to listen

to as to watch!!

A squirrel ran by in the form of a

beautiful little baby 3 weeks ago,

so I stitched up the matching baby quilt blocks

during last week's sew day.

The blocks were arranged and joined.

I finished it off with a pieced white frame and

used the leftover strips from the blocks

for a sassy final border.

A great compliment to the wedding quilt!

It was a very fun block

made super easy with the specialty

ruler for curvy log cabins.

Great progress there, now on to

make backing for all these flimsies!

Stay safe and sew on !
