Quilt directions!

 It seems the best

quilts are the ones

that just happen! The

organic coming together

of fabrics and feeling is

very rewarding. This big

Stretched Star quilted up

like a dream with one

big shadowed wave side to side.

A trim and some binding

will get it finished up soon!

I also discovered a new photo venue,

the end of the stairs!

My list for this week with some

leftovers!

Little Pink Pillars

 This little top measures

42" x 50"and came about when I

needed to clear out a spot for some premade

borders. The little dark pink pillars

add interest and make this jelly roll

race style quilt visually fun to look at!

It also made room for my scrap border pieces.

There were some premade coins in the box too,
so they are now ready for their own post!

Happy quilting!

Block Chain

This Block Chain measures

65" x 74" and use 2 " x 4" squares.

Inspired by the current wave of

Bitcoin quilts, the rectangles are

larger and have a few smaller,

bitcoins mixed in for interest

and to carry out the storyline.

Block chains refer to the precursor

behind bitcoin. They are the multiple

journal entries that make  bitcoin

immune to counterfeit.

Great fun to make and easy to sew,

this quilt really reins in some scraps!
