The Hopscotch top is finally complete.
It was first finished up a few weeks ago,
but the size was a bit small at a 56" x 64"
so I upped the size by 8" so now it
measures a nice 63"x 71".
Here it is with the additional top row,
all sides pinned and ready to stitch and,
finally all sides on. A nice press
and it's time to audition some backings.
The organization bug bit me,
I tidied it up a closet and happened
to find a small bin of yardage for quilt backs.
This Hopscotch is getting a nice green check back
with small baskets of flowers.
There were enough 3-4 meter pieces
that 3 more quilts now have backings!
The Sea Glass will get this nice gold
enhanced backing.
The first of the blue scrap strip quilt is getting
a muted striped backing that
mirrors the stripes on the front.
The multicolor strip quilt will
be backed with a small floral print with a
black background.
It turned out to be a very productive start to the week!

Hopscotch looks wonderful! It is always fun to discover (or rediscover) fabrics through a reorganization project. Thanks for sharing in my Sew & Tell party.

That is a wonderful quilt, Deb. And sure is a great way to use up scraps. I find I'm always making such a mess in the sewing room no matter what I'm stitching in there but it does feel good just after a tidy up. Happy Stitching from me!
