Ahhhh Aqua!

What a color to work with!

A big pile of teals/pale blues

have been sorted out and

work on the hourglass scrapper is moving along.

I had to relocate from my cozy sewing

desk out to the main workroom since

my project is getting larger fast!

The top increases rapidly when you

add all around! Can you find the

errors ? I corrected them after the photo!

I have always loved the broken dishes block

The teal/ pale blue pile is so large that it needed

an additional sort.

Some yardage and fat quarter size pieces
can return to the stash .

Organizing projects for the week
should help me keep direction.
I do tend to flit from one to the next a bit.

First off, stitch  up the hourglass
center. The alternate neutral blocks
can be sewn up and added too!
Three more months of colors and the
top will be complete!

Next ,a tiny little block for a new
arrival needs to be started. Time to
put my curvy log cabin ruler to work!

This should keep me busy all week
along with some ongoing scrap sorting
and any squirrels that run by !!

Stay safe and sew on!

  3. Love the design! I have a scrappy hourglass quilt that I made years ago. My husband's favorite quilt and it is one of the 3 on our bed right now. I used browns, yellows and oranges along with assorted lights.
