Halfway thru!

 The week is sailing by!

It is great to be busy

and getting things done!

My list from the weekend:

            1. layout block chain
            2. hang flimsies
            3. finish quilting up big ole strings
            4. work on some waffle blocks
            5. add white to RSC confetti blocks
Made lots of progress
in the past few days.
The block chain is ready for some
little bitcoin accents.

The flimsies are hanging
wonderfully in the
closet. It is so much
fun to be able to look
thru them wrinkle free!

All that waffle work
created a big mess but
it is tidied away and replaced
by string block chaos so no
real progress. The waffle blocks
are stored away tho.

The poor confetti blocks
are still in limbo so a big
nope there.

Still the net outcome is great,
and I am moving lots along.
The list of to dos for this week!

                              1 Stitch on binding for
                                 big ole strings!
                              2 Work on  string blocks
                              3 Sew up confetti squares

Did I mention my sewing room
is now the temp storage of
30 cases of wedding reception
wine?  Cowabunga what
a fall and winter sewing it will be !

Stay safe and sew on !

  1. You've made great progress! The block chain looks great - what are bitcoin accents? LOVE your waffle blocks and can't wait to see how that turns out. That's a lot of boxes to share your space with!
Thanks for linking up with To Do Tuesday. :)

    1. I am going to try to place some smaller sized pieces between a few of the rows. Wish me luck! It will either be a success or just something you tilt your head to look at!

  2. How difficult is is going to be to stay out of those cases of wine, Deb??? LOL!! You did a good job of working through your list last week. Here's hoping this week went as well or EVEN BETTER!!

  3. You've got some great scrappy projects in the works. I really like the warm colors in your Confetti blocks. Happy stitching this week.

  4. Looking at your flimsy storage, you might want to consider wrapping each level part with scrap batting so the crease is not so sharp, basting the scraps on to make it more comfortable for the quilt tops.

  5. Oh that is a good Idea! Maybe a small muslin cased foamy will work too. I was wondering about that. Long term hanging may stress the folded part and a small foamy or cylinder of some sort wont take up that much room. Thank you! Good use of left over batting bits too!
